The Holy Mother Ganges:
------------------------------------------------------

Wonderstruck and thrilled by the the Bhagirathi river, with swami Arun, we reached Gangotri the origin point of the River Ganges. It is the month of October 2001.The weather is pleasant and cold. The place has fascinating surroundings and fantastic landscapes. According to the stories of the legend, King Bhagirath brought Ganga on earth with meditation. We payed homage to the statue ancient old statue of mother Ganga.

Fifteen days with the holy rivers, the The Bhagarathi of Gangotri to the Alakananda of Bhadrinath, changing names and courses in different places is interesting and rejuvenating Meditating on the banks of Karna Prayag and Deva prayag we finally reached to the final destination of our spiritual pilgrimage… Badrinath. Adorned with te nature’s gradeur the rivers seem to flow in dance and celebration of the union , the two rivers merging as one as Ganges.

Sitting silently in meditation so close to the lofty snow mountains and the Alakananda river ,listening to the chanting of prayers in the temple of Narayan we are in a wonderland of pure spiritual vibrations elevating our consciousness to the higher peaks like the lofty snow capped mountains. This place has been the place of pilgrimage for centuries for millions of pilgrims ,who has helped in preserving the spiritual field with their devotion . The silence and peace of the holy shrine enveloped us and and the chanting of prayers in the temple of Narayan awakened the devotion in us.

Sitting in meditation in Devprayag, with the view of rivers of Alaknanda from Badrinath and Bhagirathi of Gangotri merging in unison and flowing forward as Ganges we realized that to visit and to stay in these places of spiritual sanctity really one has to be blessed ones. No words can expressed these alive pure vives that take us deep into meditaion spontaneously without any effort. The spots of Karna Prayag , Nand prayag is marvalleous too.The meditators can understand the value of the places .These are spiritually mystical places!
We the mystery of the place of pilgrimages revealed before us. This holy places have the high and pure energy field created by the meditators and devotee , from one century to the other .That must be the cause that meditation happens here spontaneously , and the environment awaken the devotion of our heart that it is very difficult to leave the place and come back.

These Himalayas seems to be the abode of the Enlighten ones , thus seekers , devotees .The pilgrim throng the temple of holy shrine of Lord Narayan ,Badrinath the place of pilgrimage situated in laps of the Himalayas. Our eyes lifted up to see the glorious lofty mountains the snowcapped Neelkanth peak glamorously shining with the noon days sun rays We bowed down to the to the manifestation of Lord Vishnu in a stone idol , seated in the meditative posture , below the wondrous Neelkanth peak and in front of the vast Alaknanda river. This is the most beautiful spot for meditation of pilgrimage , 3133 meters above sea Singing along with the devotees ,the devotional songs in worship to the lord Narayan ,bathing in the crystal clear and clean waters of the Ganges and sitting with closed eyes on the rocks of the river ,dissolving in the presence of the present moment ……what can there be more wonderful then this?

After the chilled cold dip of the river to the dip in the hot waters of Tapt Kund , a spiritual bath of the body , mind and soul is amazingly refreshing . All the exertion of the long journey was washed away as we dipped into the Tapt Kund , in the hot boiling holy water. The hot bath in the cold snow capped Nar-Narayan mountains is a remarkable experience.

The Neelkanth mountains where the spiritual presence of the higher celestal beings and high consciousness of Narayana ,and the temples bell calls the hearts of the pilgrims.

This year commenced with Mother Meera in my heart visiting many places of pilgrimage of Krishna. The years began with the pilgrimage to Mathura, Vindravan to Chittagore and from there again with Arun Sw. the pilgrimage continued to Dwarika. Now I am in the sacred place of her Narayan ….Badrinarayan. Â
